NWKA Supercup at TCKC

Padholder Supercup season opener at Tri-City Kart Club is in the books! It was likely the most eventful weekend for us to date, with emotional ups and downs: a DNF, followed by late night mechanical fixes of the bent axle on Saturday; another issue in the 206 pre-final on Sunday, requiring us to urgently rebuild and move to a new chassis; P2 in 206 qualifying; P5 and P6 in Tag Jr finals.

Asad had a very solid pace throughout the weekend, demonstrated tons of resilience and respect to other racers, and kept high energy and positive attitude even when it seemed that he wouldn’t be able to make the final race in Jr II 206 class due to a bent chassis. In Jr II 206 class, he qualified P2 on Sunday, and climbed 10 positions up from the very back of the field in the finals, showing an amazing P20->P10 run. Nice job! 💪

Very special thanks to Italian Motors USA Michael Valiante, Henry Jenkins, Frank, Monroe and others for the amazing support throughout the weekend, and for swarming urgently on Sunday to pull off the miracle of getting Asad back on track in a new chassis in only 40 minutes. Thank you David Speirs for jumping on that kart rebuild, your support and help was invaluable for us!

As always, thanks to our sponsors ProFormance Racing School and 425 Motorsports for continued trust and support!
