NWKA Supercup @ Chilliwack, BC
This past weekend, July 12-14, saw the exciting Rounds 7 and 8 of the NWKA Padholder Supercup series unfold at Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack, BC. As the largest go-karting series in the Pacific Northwest, the competition was fierce and the racing action intense.
As usual for this season, Asad competed in two classes: Jr II 206 and Tag Jr.
He showcased excellent pace throughout the weekend in the Jr II 206 class. Sunday's races were particularly noteworthy, with Asad qualifying in P3 and securing P2 in the pre-final in the field of 16 racers. This strong performance put him on the front row for the final race. Despite an early incident that pushed him back to P9, Asad demonstrated remarkable determination and skill, fighting his way back through the field to finish in a respectable P5.
The Tag Jr class presented some challenges, particularly during the rolling starts on both days. These setbacks resulted in P6 on Saturday and P9 on Sunday. However, Asad maintained great pace overall and gained valuable experience that will undoubtedly contribute to future successes.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, Proformance Racing School and 425 Motorsports, for their continued support. Their backing is instrumental in our racing efforts.
A special thanks goes out to Italian Motors USA for providing us with top-notch equipment and outstanding team support!
